You said about led issue, it is a quality issue because of over heating plastic turn to brown but I just asked that, When we reset device all led is blinking If you right how led is passthrough on factory resetting ??

@Kevin_Z

THis is a known problem, the router apparently gets hot and over time the LEDs either start to fail or (more likely) the clear plastic case at the front 'clouds up' stopping the light  from the LEDs.  Mine are only just visible in a pitch black room.  My VR900 version 1 still works OK though and is as reliable as ever apart from the LED issue.

It is best to use the web router management screen to check status anyway, gives much clearer idea of what is going on.

Hope this helps.  The problem reportedly affects many tp-link router models.

Hello, can I have a video showing the exact LED issue on the VR900? We will soon ask our R&D to confirm this, thanks.

BTW, when did you buy the VR900? When did this issue occur? What if you reset the VR900 to factory defaults, will the LED be temporarily normal?
