Hi, I have an Archer C3150 v1 with firmware version 0.9.1 0.1 v005f.0 Build 160707 and I have a problem where sometimes more than once a day the 5Ghz band disconnects to some of my devices or works really bad, most noticiable under heavy usage situations (like plex streaming). I have to reset the router for it to go back to work as usual. I wonder if there's something to fix it? I've seen that Archer C7 is having the same issue, could it be something like it?

I hope you find a resolution. I've had this router now for 2 months and its not returnable to the retailer. So I'm stuck with it or I eat $200 and get something else which I really really don't want to do.

Same problem here: same version and firmware as well as the others. I'm tired of rebooting and losing my connection. Please give us a fix! I'm getting ready to throw this router out the window

Oh man, me too! I really don't want to shell out the money for another router, but if they don't fix it soon, I may have to, and it's successor definitely won't be a TP-Link. By the way, the last time they updated the FW on this was last July, ouch. I'm pretty disappointed at the lack of support on this.ntucci wrote

Same issue.
Losing access to tplinkwifi.net as well on wired connection. Only fix is to restart the router.
Router seems more stable when only 2.4GHz enabled.
As this point, I am wondering whether to just return this device and get something else.
