TP-PA8030P Kit(UK) Random Disconnects

Firmware Version :
ISP :
So I previously had a really long cat 5e ethernet cable from the router in the living room, all the way upstairs to my bedroom.
I like gaming, and obviously wireless isnt stable enough for that, too much interference which can cuase disconnections.
Problem I had was I never got a gigabit connection cos I guess my ethernet cable is too long.
Bought a new adaptor for my PC, and still didnt get a gigabit connection.
Bought a TP-PA8030P Kit and it now states I do have a gigabit connection.
Problem is testing transfers I dont get the full gigabit transfer, only get a quarter to a third of that.
Still faster than my previous connection speed.
But now I get random disconnects, and they've been getting more frequent over the last couple of months.
ISP says there'd nothing wrong.
Also when my PC disconnects, I can connect to the net via my phone and the family PC is still connected.
So it's only my PC which is connected via this powerline which disconnects.
I have updated the firmware on the plugs using TP Link's utility. But still getting disconnects.
So anyone know how to check and fix this?
Also why I dont get my full gigabit connection? Could it be the 3 port plug supports 1Gb in total, so 3 ports mean each port gets a third of a Gb?
Could my plugs be faulty?
Any help appreciated.

I've returned my V1, and since no new firmware has actually been released, I must say lucky me. My V2, with the current public firmware from July 2017, run well.

Still have problems
And they refuse to swap them for V2
The reason?
They dont have any, and have no idea when they will get some!!!!
Like seriously, they are the manufacturer! Not a retailer!
And they dont have them in stock or know when they will have more made?!
Well actually first they claimed that the V2 may cost more and so I would have to pay the difference. It's a V1 and V2 of the same product!
I refused, and then it was them saying they didnt have any V2's in stock!
If that was the case then why claim I would may have to pay more?!
Wish I returned these for a full refund instead of being dragged along their wild goose chase!
At least companies like BT will tell you when they are screwing you, these guys pretended to be the nice guys, and still do, all the while lying to you!
So if you still can return them and get a refund and go for another brand!

I'm so glad I bought them through Amazon.
So the original manufacturer doesn't have the current version of the product in stock? That's about as steaming a pile of bullshit as you can possibly imagine. After that experience, and particularly after reading what kind of advice we're getting here (case in point: IPv6 support - "nobody really needs that", yeah right), I'm done purchasing TP-Link product.

Use new 2.4.0 NVM file with UK version of 2.2.3 PIB file and flash it. All problems will be solved

So I want the 2.4.0-TL-PA8030P(UK)V1-170616-BETA.zip download for the 8030P UK plugs right?
But then isnt there a greater chance of bricking the plugs with mismatched files?

Final Update (hopefully)
Well after 18 months, and then waiting for a reply when they would get V2 adaptors in, they never got back.
I started spamming on their twitter and they came back with the offer of replacing the 3-port TP-PA8030P with 2-ports PA9020P V3
Again I argued that if I wanted 2 ports I would have bought 2 ports, but I need 3 ports.
I told them I would only agree with the swap for PA9020P only if they gave me 3 of them.
This way I will get 6 ports for 6 ports.
They agreed and I am using them now.
Of course whether they have the same issue as the PA8030P I probably wont know for a while as those worked fine for a couple months before the disconnects.
Still concerning that they claimed to be working on a new firmware, yet here we are 18 months later and still no new firmware.
And they still have no stock of the V2 in the UK.

There is updated firmware for the 9020p v3 on the UK site. Got red LEDs lit all the time before updating. Seems ok now mixed with v1.
