I am currently trying to set up a office wifi enviroment using a Cisco router for internet access (non wifi), and 2 Wireless Access Points (AP500's)

At the moment, i have a AP500 connected into a RJ45 port on the wall for network/internet access, and have set that up as a Access Point. I've specified the same SSID for 2.4 and 5.0GHZ, same security key etc.

I need AP500 upstairs to assist the users upstairs, so do I set this up as another access point or a Repeater? I have tried both, but both have major connectivity issues with drop outs and packet loss. When setting up as two AP's, it constantly chucks certain users off the wireless, and them not able to reconnect for several minutes.

I appreciate you may need further info, so if you do please just ask.
