Im trying to get my wireless adapter to work in Kali 2.0 but without success. I downloaded the driver from their official website:http://www.tp-link.com/us/download/Archer-T2U.html#Driver
I then followed the steps in the PDF: http://imgur.com/a/sLpWF but i keep getting this error: http://imgur.com/a/Of8rC
I dont really know what the problem is. I have tried to update my source.list (etc/apt/source.list) and added the rolling kali respository.
Does anyone know what the problem is? Please help Im going crazy..
"Hämtningar" = Downloads
This is a booted kali linux on a Mac OSX

what's your kernel version？the driver supports [FONT=arial]Linux (Kernel version 2.6~3.16) only,and they don't have the plan to update.

Hey, Thank you for the quick reply.I currently run the latest kernel which is 4.8.15. Im aware that the official driver from the website only supportd kernel 2.6 ~3.16. However i also downloaded the modified driver ( https://github.com/lixz789/mt7610u_wifi_sta_v3002_dpo_20130916) which FAQ recommends. It says that the modified version will work with the new kernels but i still get the same error. So.. is my only option to downgrade my kernel?Thank you.

Sorry I know little about linux, downgrade may be a choice and I suggest you to seek help on some linux ,driver or chipset forum for help
