Wi-fi problem between Archer D2 and Galaxy S6
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi, i have a problem with my Archer D2 and my mobile phone Galaxy S6.
The problem is that the phone stays connected to the router, but the connection stops working for a few seconds and then starts to work again.
This makes it impossible to play online games such as the Clash Royale, because the connection stop Working.
This problem is very annoying also with Youtube, Whatsapp and other apps..
I tried to factory reset Galaxy S6 and my Archer D2 modem router, but the problem has not been resolved.
This problem occurs only with the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi, I have no problem with the 5 Ghz network.
In my house I have this modem (Archer D2) at the ground floor, and a Tp-Link router WDR-3600 upstairs. The two devices are connected together via ethernet (LAN-LAN) method.
I have set up the same SSID name, password, and Wi-fi security on both routers.
The Archer D2 is on channel 1 and the WDR-3600 is on channel 6, they can interfere with each other?
The Wi-Fi works perfectly on the WDR-3600, i have this problem only with my Archer D2 (2.4Ghz).
I hope someone can help me solve this problem.
Bye
