Can't use both Ethernet ports with TL-PA4020KIT AV500 Nano Two-Port Powerline Starter Kit

I have no complaints at all about the adaptors when I have a single device, in this case my PC, connected to my router through them. However as soon as I plug my Sony Bravia Smart TV into the second Ethernet port the internet connection just dies. Wired and wireless connections just gone.
My router is a Plusnet Hub One https://www.broadbandchoices.co.uk/guides/hardware/plusnet-hub-one.
I really don't know what could be wrong. Anyone else encountered the same issue and found a solution?
