Good morning everyone;

After numerous attempts to call Dell for technical support me to do was to address the forum. I run the firmware update of my Archer D7 (via firmware downloads for Archer D7 V1 from the official page), regarding the firmware version, in the info of the modem, I always see the same that it was before, even after the update is the: 0.9.1 Build 150911 1.3 v002d.0 Rel.30949n. It's correct? I do not see any changes.
The router continues to function properly. Thanks for your attention.

Hi,

May I know which version do you want to update to?
And is there any pop-up tips during the upgrade?

The latest firmware for this model is Archer D7(EU)_V1_160216on the official website.
http://static.tp-link.com/res/down/soft/Archer_D7(EU)_V1_160216.zip
Please download and extract this firmware and then install it on your Archer D7.
Normally, when you select the bin file and click the Upgrade icon on Firmware Upgrade page (Advanced -> System Tools), there will appear a progress bar reminding the router is upgrading & rebooting.
Please pay attention to the upgrade process and double check if you can see the whole progress completed. If not, please also tell us or provide screeshots of any pop-up error message.

So when the duck are we actually going to get a stable firmware for these Archer D7 units.

EVERYTHING release so far is Crap and resultss in daily reboots to get asny form of internet.

How is it that the 2.4Ghz SSID can work fine, but thje 5Ghz SSID reports that internet is not available, yet switching to the 2.4Ghz SSID works perfeclty. Its the same ducking internet connection, only difference, the crap firmware that is provided by you bunch, obviously untested and uncaring about your Australian market.

Pull your finger out and get something together that actually works.....
