500 mb/s is the theoretical maximum on a physically perfect connection. In real life, nothing is perfect, so nothing wrong here.

hi, i use 8030pkit (theretically 1200mb/s). directly at phone line i get 96mbit (maximum as provided by ISP). Then it goes into the 8030 and i gather 30 mbit at first. I then saw new firmware update, installed and made encryption to 4 chars only. Still 30mbit. Then saw the advice of the powersocket should be a standalone one, which then gave me 50 mbit on that one. Thats sad for me as 50% loss is too much here sadly. I will do some more testing in the hope to rais ethe speed at least to 70 mbit
