Hi,

Why is there no utility on TL-PA9025P KIT V1 web page ?
Which software to use ?

I tried to use tpPLC_Utility from TL-PA9020P KIT V1 but it doesn't work (impossible to change network name or device names).

Thanks for your support.

Regards

Hi

That's not helping.
There are no firmware update for this device available on TP link web.

You asked about the management utility (tpPLC). The version for the 9020 will give you the latest - which should work on all current adaptors.

[FONT=Arial]If that doesn't work then try a factory defaults reset (hold down the sync button and repower the adaptor - and hold the button down for 15 seconds)

If your current firmware version is less than 3.2.4b then you probably need to contact TP-Link support to get them to provide (or ideally upload to the support site) a current version...Earlier versions are very buggy and have disconnect / performance issues.

Hi,

I installed the TL-PA9025P Kit some days ago into my existing network of 4x TL-WPA4220 (I have unpluged the former TP-PA4020P from router).

When I pair only the two TL-PA9025P from the Kit, I get on both TL-PA9025Ps the powerline lights to go green... BUT: I have no chance to get the TL-WPA4220s into the network.

When I pair one of the TL-WPA4220 with a TL-PA9025P, I can get them work. BUT: the powerline lights of both TL-PA9025Ps turn red!

With the tpPLC utility (latest version) I see in this situation the TL-WPA4220 running with more then double speed in comparison to former installation with the TL-PA4020P instead of the TL-PA9025P.

The second TL-PA9025P of the kit is also connected to the network - so now I have a mixed environment working. Although I guess the second TL-PA9025P is not running at its best. Both TL-PA9025P of the kit (one directly connected to the router and the other as a "remote" station) are connected although their powerline lights are red!

For all the network adapters (2x TL-PA9025P from kit + 4x TL-WPA4220 and 1x TL-PA4020P) I have made a firmware update offered from the tp-link support websites (latest versions).

Actual firmware of all TL-WPA4220: 1.3.1.2141-00_422091_170518_004
Actual firmware of TL-PA4020: 1.3.0.2134-00_402011_1602231_002
Actual firmware of both TL-PA9025P: 3.2.4_902121_170629_901

--> I used the tpPLC utility to get this firmware informations!

MY QUESTION 1: Is there a chance to get this red lights of the two TL-PA9025Ps turn green without the other devices drop the connections? Or are the TL-PA9025Ps forced to run lower protocols to be compatible with the AV600 devices (TL-WPA4220 and TL-PA4020P) and so there is no chance for the lights to turn green?

The Vogon: [QUOTE] If your current firmware version is less than 3.2.4 b then you probably need to contact TP-Link support to get them to provide (or ideally upload to the support site) a current version... Earlier versions are very buggy and have disconnect / performance issues.

MY QUESTION 2: Are there meanwhile newer firmware versions for the TL-PA9025Ps??? The latest version I found is 3.2.4 and not 3.2.4 b!!!
