Model : AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router Model No. Archer C7

Hardware Version : Archer C7 v2 00000000

Firmware Version : 3.15.1 Build 160616 Rel.44182n

ISP :

Hello,

I have a Seagate 4TB formatted as NTFS with MBR that used to work on my previous router (TL-WR1043ND) but it's not recognized on Archer C7 v2, I've updated the firmware with the latest version pointed out in another thread (not the beta, the release version) but the HDD still is not recognized, is there anything else I can try besides formatting my HDD? I really don't want to lose its content and have nowhere to backup all that data up...

Thanks!

Have you checked the led light beside the USB port? Will it light up and solid on when you plug in the hard drive?

Yes, the light does come on and stay on. But a scan never shows that drive/device. I'm able to use smaller drives but not the 4 TB Seagate.

Same thing to me, the light goes on but no disk can be found.
