Hi there.

Yesterday I've try to set up a home network with two TL-WR841N
(FW: 3.16.9 Build 150616 Rel.52099n / HW: WR841N v11 00000000).

Both should act as a WDS bridge AP in line.
The first TL-WR841 should extend an existing router / WLAN network and the second one should extend from the first one

My first question is, is this setup generally possible with the TP-Link Routers or should I use other products therefor?

In the following table you find further information about the setup ( "Enable WDS Bridging" ON < activated on both TL-Router)

Location Room 1 extend to > Corridor extend to > Room2
Description Base Router < bridged to TL-WR841 (1) < bridged to TL-WR841 (2)

I hope you can comprehend the table and you can recognize the idea of my network.

Provided that the shown setup is generally possible with this kind of routers, this is my problem:
Although I could connect the second TL to the first TL via the survey button, it isn't possible then to use the network.
There ist no connection to the internet and also I can't call the other router via the IP addresses, neither the base router nor the first TL.

Thanks for further help.
Kind regards,
Appletiser.
