Archer C5 V1.2 throughput issue
Model : Archer C5
Hardware Version : Archer C5 v1.2 (the one with 3 antennas)
Firmware Version : 3.14.3 Build 150428 Rel.75843n
ISP : RDS (RO)
Hey there guys,
I've been having some issues with my Archer C5 V1.2. I have a 300mbps/100mbps down/up connection from my ISP I've had this router for almost an year and never had any issues with it until a month ago.
Before this issue, I was getting around 280mbps/100mbps on speedtest.net on wifi 5g on my laptop which has a Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 . Now I'm getting consistent results of about 90-100 mbps on any device I use
What I've tried:
* Tried wired connection from the router to my laptop: same results
* Tried connecting directly to my ISP: speedtest.net reveals a speed of 295mpbs/100mbps
* Same thing on 2g
Other things to consider:
* there are no other 5G networks in the area (and even if there were wired connection should have been fine)
Any advice on how to tackle this ?
