WD-9970 dropping connection on ethernet ports
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have a WD-9970 using a VDSL connection and it seems to somehow drop routing from wifi to the ethernet ports. Sometimes I am unable to connect to my server if I ping their IP directly, but am able to access it via DynDNS.
My setup is as follows:
Internet --> WD9970 --> DLINK gigabit switch --> Edimax fast ethernet switch --> rest of network.
| |
Wifi devices IP Cams and R/Pi
The WD9970 is running following services:
VDSL
DHCP
Firewall
No-ip Dynamic DNS
Wifi
Sometimes when I am connected to the wifi, I lose the connection to my server. I can't ping it or anything. But I do have NO-IP setup, and a port forwarded to the server, and I can access the server then. It then comes back by itself.
Any idea what could be causing this?
