Firmware Version : 1.1.2 build 20150924 rel 66045
ISP : Telia
Every 7 day (exactly) my router loose the internet connection and I have to restart the router agen. After that the router work for seven more days and than loose the internet connection (and so on). The lamp indicate (red): "The WAN port is connected, but there is no Internet connection". Could it be that the internet goes down but why do not the router pick up the internet when it come back and why is it every 7 day from the restart. How can I start looking to resolve this.

Just purchased an Archer C2600 and updated the firmware to build 20160902 rel 33228. Router has dropped all ethernet-connected devices twice in the first 24 hours of use. Reset to factory settings and then reconfigured for my subnet and same thing happened. Now have my old router back in place and am looking to report this as faulty.
It's really disappointing that this issue still exist, worst part is that it seems to have been around for a very, very long time. And i find it weird that none of the reviews i read about this router mentioned this.

Same issue here in Sweden

I have Viasat as an ISP via Telia Öppen Fiber. After their migration in february, I have had nothing but issues. I had a netgear router previously, but it couldn't handle the amount of wireless connections we have at home and we dropped wireless connectivity all of the time. On a recommendation, I purchased a Archer C2600. Viasat isn't the most stable platform after feburary 2017, but even when it is up, every tuesday like clockwork I lose all internet connection. Restarting the router doesn't work. I have to restart the fiber modem. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that it's a dynamic IP and the lease goes out every 7 days or so. However, Viasat support is so terrible concerning broadband that they can't even tell me what the lease time is. This is the first forum to suggest it's an issue with the router. I have the sept 2016 firmware update as well. It's so unstable that I can't even work from home now. I'll have to go back with this router and get something else. Total shame as I have had great success with it's wifi capabilities. Never have once dropped a connection. But I can't keep having to restart my fiber modem every week. Are we sure this isn't a telia fiber thing and the Archer router just can't handle the IP release renew?

Personally i dont have Telia fiber i Waoo/Fibia. I have had this connection for around 7-8 years now and i have had around maybe 3 routers before this C2600, and this is the only one that has this issue. And at this point i dont expect anything will be done to fix this issue, its not like they are pushing firmware for this thing either.

Its a travesty and honestly not something that will ever make me buy another product from the company. I find it utterly baffling that this certain issue has been around for so long, but the worst part is that there seems to be no real way of fixing it. And with the C2600 firmware dating all the way back to before December 2016, it seems like they are also not in the game of doing patches for their products.

I tried the lates firmware that came out ca. april? Anyway, it's "not for my country" but I installed it anyway. It says it's only for the US market. I had the problem the first week after I updated the firmware (thought that it didn't make any difference), but after that, I haven't had to restart the router once. It's been 3+ weeks now. I think the first week might have been because I should have restarted the router (or did a factory resent) after the firmware update. But it's working great now. I had the September 2016 version prior to using this new one. So hope this helps someone out there. Looks like they fixed it.

The Archer C2600 now working
2017-06-09 17:11:43
I had problem with Archer C2600 went down every 7day last year but after Factory reset i February 2017 it is OK.
I made the Factory reset but still the update Firmware vers 1.1.7 Build 20160902 was installed (?) and I made all setup from the beginning (I think I used the Basic). The only difference from earlier is that I did not started the guest net.
It is difficult to read the System Log, the date changes back to 2015-01-01 all the time. I do not know how many time I changed it but still it goes back to this defult date.

Try these settings, with settings for your region!
The router starts with the date of 2015, delete the old log and make the settings for the region and it will update everything....
Before installing the firmware gives a factory default and just after installing the firmware Archer C2600(UN)_V1_170306!
The latest version
