I've had this problem for too long! I've already replaced this product but the new Power-line Adapter does not work as well. If I cannot get this problem fix for the last time I will be looking for a full refund.

I know this is going to sound really weird but just try connecting the adaptor (the one which is connected to your computer) to other plug points in your house using an extension cable and see if it works on any of them.
I found, bizarrely, that this worked for me. Elegant it is not!

Just in case anyone is still following this thread I finally fixed my problem. I discovered the IP address of my WPA4220 adaptor had reset to the factory default of 192.168.1.1 (which is the same as the default LAN address of my router). By changing the adaptor's IP address to another IP address in the router's DHCP range (using the TP-LINK Powerline Extender Utility) the problem is fixed and all is working fine now.

Hey thanks for all the information but could you please advise how to change the IP address as you have mentioned?
