TL-ANT2412D Antenna use on Tplink Archer C7

Antenna Model: TL-ANT2412D 2.4ghz 12dbi omni directional antenna with pigtail cable TL-ANT24PT3
Router : Tp-link TL-WR841ND
Setup application : Indoor use

Im planning to use the 2pcs Tp-link TL-ANT2412D 2.4ghz to replace the two 5dbi detachable antennas on my Tp-link TL-WR841ND router to extend wifi signal range inside our home
the router is currently place on the basement floor , will changing the antenna to the 2pcs 12dbi outdoor antennas increase its range to the second and third floor indoor.
With the stock 2pcs 5dbi antenna that came with the router signal is good on the basement and 1st floor but on the second floor signal has bad quality
currently with my testing the signal seems to be the same with the stock 5dbi antennas.
