TD-W8968 v2 dhcp problems
Model : TD-W8968
Hardware Version : v2
Firmware Version : latest
ISP : Brazilian ISP
Hi,
I have a modem router TD-W8968 v2 with latest firmware with problems on dhcp.
Most frequent problem is that devices just can't connect through wifi, hanging on ip assignment, and connected devices are disconnected, when this happens, devices connect through cable continues working normally. Turning wifi off/on solves the problem most times, but some times is required to reboot modem.
I have an old TL-WR941ND, than decide to put this as access point with different wifi SID, this solved all the boring issues with wifi failing to connect and my life was happy about a year when my access point stopped to relay the dhcp from W8968. I reset WR941ND and make configurations for access point again, but no luck.
My settings:
W8968
- ip 192.168.1.1
- mask 255.255.255.0
- dhcp lease 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.199
- all LAN ports occupied, 1 going to WR941ND, 1 with a NAS connected with fixed ip 192.168.1.11
- wifi on channel 1 fixed
WR941ND
- ip 192.168.1.2
- dhcp server disable
- connected to W8968 with cable on LAN1, no other cables connected
obs. this cable has about 20 meters, but I connected a notebook on it and it worked correctly.
- wifi on channel 6 fixed with differend SID of W8968
Thanks for any help.
