WR842ND Reading 4TB HDD
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I recently upgraded my external HDD and bough a 4TB Self Powered Seagate, but my router cant seem to recognize it when i plug in.
The USB Led Indicator on my router is on but inside the firmware it says no device plugged In,
I tried the following partitions since the HDD is still empty without any luck:
1- 1 GPT NTFS partition of 4TB
2- 2 GPT NTFS partition of 2TB
3- 4 GPT NTFS partition of 1TB
4- 8 GPT NTFS partition of 0.5TB
5- 1 MBR NTFS partition of 2TB (rest un-allocated)
6- 2 MBR NTFS partition of 1TB (rest un-allocated)
7- 4 MBR NTFS partition of 0.5TB (rest un-allocated)
My Router have Latest Firmware Update,
the compatibility thread on tp link website says that the router can read the first 8 partitions and each one not exceeding 2TB
Please can someone help me to solve my problem,
Thanks :)
