Dear TP-Link team,

after a night of rather poor sleep, I disappointedly have to report that the TL-PA8030P adapters are emitting an annoying pattern of high pitch beeps and squeaks even when in standby mode.

This is rather inacceptable in a product for home use, particularly for those that are used in living rooms and bedrooms. Still, the issue is fairly common also with competitor's product. From prior experience and also my own professional background, I know that this is not an individual unit failure but a fundamental design problem with such device's internal power supply circuitry.

Hence, I'll be returning the TL-PA8030P kit for being unfit for the intended purpose.
