TL-WA850RE issues

Hi guys,
I have the abovementioned extender connected to a Hitron BVW3653 Board and I'm always losing connection or getting through very slowly.
It happens both in my laptop and in my iPhone. I've even changed the name of the the network of the extender but it didn't get any better (although it solved the problem with airprints that were slow and getting stucked all the time probably because of the wifi bouncing).
Is there any known incompatibility or solution for this case?
