Archer VR900: Humax HD-FOX T2 Crashes when accessing wired network
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Have just installed the VR900 on my home network (TalkTalk Fibre Broadband) and all seems fine except compatibility with a couple of devices.
VR900 is on the latest Firmware as of yesterday.
The Humax has worked fine on previous routers including the TalkTalk VDSL router supplied when the service was subscribed to. With the VR900 installed the Humax crashes after abut 2 minutes because of what I think is a TCP/IP conflict. I have tried with DHCP, with A reserved IP address for the device and with the IP address fixed on the device. IT fails in all tests. As soon as the network is accessed, there is a sort interval of about 2 minutes and then the Humax crashes.
The humax is fine until ithe moment you switch to the network to look for media to stream. as soon as the network is is selected, even if you don't stream data, the countdown starts to the crash.
I have another device acting in a similar manner, but i'll leave that for another post.
Can anyone help? Nothing is showing in VR900 logs.
