Restrict access to a port by IP address
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I had an old TP-LINK D8960N and I was when setting up port forwarding it would allow me to specify an external IP address to only allow incoming connections for the specified port to a specific IP address.
That modem blew up after a lightning strike and I bought a newer Archer 750 D20 - when setting up port forwarding on this modem there is no option to set up an external IP address? Why is this? I thought a newer modem would have more features than the old one, not less.
Is there a way to do this and I have just missed some detail somewhere?
