Hi,

I have been using 4 powerline adapters in my home network for a couple of years now and started off using 4x TL-PA211's. I had a couple of failures and replace them with two new 211's.
The remaining 4 211's have since packed in by which I mean that there are no lights on when plugged in and no throughput. I'm looking to replace these adapters and was wondering if the newer versions of the TP-link adapters are more reliable as I have noew had 6 fail on me.

I have four of the adpaters still intact (I took the first two failed units apart to see if I could repair them), is it worth sending them back to TP-Link?

Thanks

Gav

Original TL-PA211 (black sides) usually fail in 2 years due to low quality or underspec capacitors. They can be repaired if you replace the bad cap.

I don't know if new model PA211 has same bad caps.
