AC750 and NAS --> slow data transfere

I have a NAS (Synology DS215j ) hooked up to my AC750. When transfering data to the NAS the speed is 11 MB/s which is very slow. However, when I restart the router the speed rises to 86 MB/s which is very good. Unfortunately, getting this speed requires restarting the rounter every day.
Is there something I can do? I am assuming that the AC750 is somehow limiting the transfere speed because restarting the router gives me top speed.
