I've asked elsewhere how to use the W9970 with BT and static IPs with no response so I will simplify the question.

How do you disable NAT on the W9970 so that the WAN will pick up the VDSL 'random' IP and I can configure the static IPs on the LAN to be transmitted without translation.

Any offers?

Hi!
If you want to disable the NAT on W9970,you can go to Wan settings--Advanced.
Then uncheck the Enable NAT option.
Hope this can help you.

Thanks, but . . .

. . . I don't have that option.

I can't seem to paste a screenshot here so I've attached it. Very odd.

Perhaps the option depends on the WAN connection type? I've got the latest firmware installed.

Anyway in the meantime I managed to get hold of a Draytek Vigor 2860 which does the job splendidly.

Thanks for the response though.

I have solved this by connection with telnet and changing it with "wan" command on the specific service

IMHO this is a web gui bug. The option is missing. TP-LINK please fix it.

In the meanwhile you can disable the NAT through the telnet interface with the "wan" command.
