Trouble connecting TD-W8980 to Sky SR102
Model :
Hardware Version : TD-W8980
Firmware Version :
ISP : SKY
Hi there,
New to the forum! :D
Been trying to setup a TD-W8980 in Wireless Router Mode to a Sky SR102 Router.
Here's how i've tried to set it up.
Connected via Ethernet to Laptop
I then connect the 8980 to the SR102 via Ethernet (tried straight and cross over cables) to the WAN Port on 8980, and Ethernet from 8980 back to laptop.
From reading I should be able to access both routers now but I can only acess the 8980 (192.168.1.1) and not the SR102 (192.168.0.1) and i have no Internet Connection.
Any ideas as to what im doing wrong
I also tried a TD-W8960N using these settings and it worked. The 8980 doesn't have the IPoE setting I don't klnow if this makes a difference?
Would ideally like to use the 8980 for the 5Ghz WiFi :)
Would really appricate any help, been trying to get this to work for hours now :D.
Thanks in advance!
