I have plugged a printer into the C7 USB port. I was expecting that computers on the network would then be able to see/use it. This isn't the case. Is it really necessary to install some software on each of the pc's just to be able to see/use this printer? I wasn't expecting this. If I plug an external hard drive into the USB port one can see/access it from other devices. Shouldn't the printer be the same? If it is this painful one may as well connect the printer to a pc on the network and use Google cloud print to print from other devices.

Hi,

All the TP-Link routers require a special software client to print through the USB port.

The only workaround is to use another firmware, DD-WRT for example...

Are you serious? Why would they say it works out of the box ?
