How far is the distance from 850RE to main router? And is there wall between them?

Can you do some signal measurements from your home? Very important is signal level from main router near repeater, and noise level.

Distance between router and range extender about 6 metres. 3 or 4 bars show on RE. Happens like clockwork every 30 or 40 mins, immediately reconnects. Just by doing a basic search see that almost all topics that discuss the wa850re talk about dropping, seems like its one real piece of s%^&.

I thought about the measurements from inSSIDer or similar application.

i always have this problem . i saw all forums have this problem and comments of amazon. i think u all need release the firmware no bug no stuck hang. i waste money for this failures mechanic . need release firmware please for all comunity tplink or your mark is poor technician support.
