So today (October 31st) Windows 10 drivers have appeared here

http://uk.tp-link.com/download/Archer-T8E.html#Driver

The download (Once unzipped) is an application which installs the config utility and drivers. No drivers' folders are created

However when I run the program nothing is seemingly installed. No TP-Link configuration utility appears in my program files and Windows 10 doesn't see any new drivers

I can't install the drivers manually as I can't find where the installation program has placed them

The only thing which appears under 'All apps' in Windows 10 start menu is the uninstall shortcut
No TP_Link folder appears in Program Files or Program Files (x86)

Is this a duff upload by TP_Link or am I doing something wrong?

I uninstalled the old drivers and replaced them with this one. I can see there are a few new options in network adapter properties, but I still don't understand how to use 5ghz band; Is it 82.11a? Also there is no "utility" packaged with this driver.

How did you even install the drivers?

No matter what I do it still says it's using drivers fom 2014 and that they're the best drivers
I cannot find where this new download places the drivers so that I can manually install them via 'have disc'
I'm still getting the drop off in speed when using 5ghz

Hmm, I see that. Before I was using an ASUS driver, now that I installed this one, it recognizes it as a TP-Link now, which is a good thing. But yeah, 2014...

I have the T9E adapter, which also has updated Win 10 drivers now offered. Unzipping the folder just gives me a "setup.exe." It's driver only, no utility. Uninstalled old drivers via control panel and then ran this "setup.exe" to install the Win 10 ones.

But here's the problem I have with this. These "new" Win 10 drivers for the T9E adapter as exactly the same as the ones from 2014. They don't appear to offer any improvement over the Win 8.1 drivers I had been using. I still get random disconnects, lousy signal. I personally think these are not new Win 10 drivers, just win 8.1 recycled. I could be wrong, but the driver information in device manager is exactly the same.

Yeah it was exactly the same with the T8E Windows 10 drivers I mentioned

Yesterday I returned the card to PC World because if I'm paying £40 for a high end WiFi card I expect it to perform like one and not the shabby mess all of TP-LINK's cards seem to performing under Windows 10

Are there any updates here? I'm using a workaround (Broadcom I think) driver for Windows 10 for my T9E but this is pretty pathetic. The "drivers" you "released" don't have any drivers in them!

What's going on here? Did anybody fix this? I have the exact same issue with the T9E - the "released" driver files have no driver.....
