Hello everyone,
I'm writing here in desperation, I am at my 3rd Archer C2 (it was replaced by the store from which I bought it from) and it still has the same problem as the first 2: random disconnects.
I have a 1000 Mbps line, connected to it is 1 PC (running Windows 7) , 2 Laptops ( running Windows 7 and Windows 10), 3 Mobile Phones ( 2 android, 1 windows mobile). Every setting is on default, updated to the latest firmware from tp-link website.
I can't say that anything is causing it in particular. It happens when gaming, it also happens in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping.
I'm currently in the process of finding it out with the help of tp-link support in my country ( Romania ), but I was hoping that with a worldwide audience like this, I might get lucky with a few tips.
Right now, I have a "for testing only" firmware installed, sent to me by tp-link support, but sadly the disconnects are still here. It's always the same error, weirdly though, we don't even notice the disconnect when not playing. The status icon doesn't update to "No internet connection". Our only sign of a disconnect is that we are thrown out of steam or battle.net client and the log.
All I can help you with is some logs and hopefully somebody can help us. Thank you in advance

if you upgraded firmware, try to reset and reconfigure. I'm not sure this is your problem but if I were you I was try :)

This happens with mine too. It randomly disconnects and when i wake up i have to reboot it. Did you fix your problem?

No,but I've made progress. I've plugged the wan cable directly into my pc,and asked someone to use the archer for a few days. In 4 days the archer had 0 disconnects, but my pc did have a few.I'm gonna contact the isp to sort out their cable and hopefully that stablizes the archer too
