Hello,

I recently purchased a VR900, it seems to be working well. However I didn't see much of an improvement if any against my old BT Home Hub 5 wireless - they seem on par.

I was wondering if its possible to damage or degrade the radio circuit if no antennas are connected as I ran the router at work for around 3 hours whilst configuring it before installing it in my home?

Thanks.

It's better to use the original antenna because it's designed for the device. If you want to get better wireless signal, you can try to change the wireless channel. If your device support 5GHz Wifi, you can connect to 5G network.

Sorry, I am not asking if it is possible to use a different antenna - just if it would have damaged the unit if it was powered up with ZERO antennas connected.
