Hi,
im having a Archer C2 witch is functioning as Access point. no DHCP.
When I setup the guest network, with default settings I wont getting an IP adress:
when i set the option in guest network:
Allow Guests To Access My Local Network: to enable, im getting an ip adres and eveyrhting is working fine.
But i dont want this option to be turned on, because guests can access my server and network then!
Please help/advice!

Choose the default guest network settings but then give the guest network a custom SSID, one different than the one your server is on.

You must have a connection by WAN port if you think about Guest Network.

Do you have security on your server so they cannot simply access?
If you have all regularly connected devices on reserved ip's, can you setup access control rules to prevent assigned ip (ie guests) from accessing whatever hosts you want to restrict?
