WPA271 kit password

I have moved house & changed computer and internet company. I now want to use my old WPA271 power link again. I have paired them but it asks for password and the one on the unit doesn't work - nor does my Virgin one. I have the resource cd but its too small to go into the mac (I think).
any thoughts appreciated
