Maybe the WAN port is defective. You tried different cables and PCs? Is it still under warranty?

@Tinchox17

I have similar issue on Archer c1200. The WAN is unplugged or off message is logged and internet stop working. But when I connect my old router, everything works fine. So I reset the archer and reconfigure every thing. After reconfiguration, it works for a about 1 week or so. Again same issue, wan is unplugged and no internet.

For me it seems like a software issue because if it was hardware it wouldnt have work after reset.

Archer c1200 v2 firmware needs an update asap to fix this issue.
