TL-PA251_251KIT -Firmware upgrade has downgraded?
Model : TL-PA251KIT
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version : 200B-1.0.0.351-06-20120608-FINAL
ISP : Sky
I went to the TP link site to get the latest firmware for my kit, hoping that it might fix the constant dropouts this kit suffers from (I've bought two kits and used the in 3 different houses, and they all suffer the same random dropouts).
I downloaded the release for 07/08/13 and upgraded it. However the new firmware version reported is 200B-1.0.0.351-06-20120608-FINAL
It was originally 200B-1.1.0.846-02-20121116-FINAL
So both the version number AND datestamp in that firmware would seem to show that this firmware is an earlier version. I've also upgraded the utility to the latest version and the reported is still the same.
So how do I get the latest version, or put the original back on my unit?
The units are v3 (which is, apparently not clear, in the dropdownlist when posting this thread).
