Hello chaps and chirps,
Just a quick question about the power wattage ratings for these routers, I know most routers have ratings of around 10 watts or so and a lot of TP-Link routers have ratings usage of much less than this, However I cannot find any information about the average wattage/power consumption/energy rating for this router anywhere.
I know most router use 12vdc and about 2-3 amps and most use about 10 watts but what does this one use.
I got an email saying is uses at least 36 watts which I think even TP-Link techincal support don't even knwo what they are talking about.
this is the reply (below)that this router uses which is a lot of power usage and very in-efficient.
Thank you very much for your email requesting information about our product.
The Max Power Consumption of Archer D9 is 36W with Power Adapter ,and without Power Adapter it is 33W.
if you look at a random list of routers you can see something aint right,
Thank you very much for your email requesting information about our product.

Test results: energy consumption
TP-Link is known for making very energy-efficient routers, and the Archer C7 is no exception. Less than 6 watts during relatively heavy loads is very low.[FONT=Arial]
