That's how you configure WDR4300 as an access point?
http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?78963-Can-someone-post-their-settings-config-file-for-Archer-c7-v2-as-an-AP&p=156734&viewfull=1#post156734

Did you check IP address, default gateway etc. obtained on your phones?
Can you login web interface of main router?

It works with both my Nokia 520 Windows phones... perhaps a firmware upgrade but be careful to back up your settings first (reset your user/password to admin before you save these settings) or you can lock yourself out of your own router with this new firmware

Maybe you can have a try of this although I don't know if it works :
Navigate to the web management page -> Network -> WAN -> MTU Size, input a number less than 1500 such as 1480.
If this changes dosn't help, modify the value to the original 1500.

Would you please tell me some detailed information:
1. Is the DHCP in your 4300 able or disable?
2. The LAN ip address of router, PC, laptop and the smart phones?
3. Is there any device between the router and internet access?

When the WDR4300 is configured as access point, the DHCP should be disable. All the IP address is allocated by DHCP server in front of 4300. To avoid conflict, turn off the DHCP in WDR4300.
