Archer VR900 random error "Please try to configure your DNS manually."
While I have tried many times resting and reconfiguring. I am on the latest Firmware version. Do not have this issue with the other ADLS router I have. Strange thing is sometimes I have to manually reboot the router as it completly stops responding (Wired and wireless). I will check if going back to previous F/W version helps.

@OmidBehniya go in page 6 or in the start of this thread and read Stella s reply. She posted the link from where to download the latest firmware. TP LINK SUPPORT gave me absolutely the same firmware, i ve checked the version and date, so i prefer you go do what the officials propose and not receiving links in your email from a random guy like my self.... i hope you get my point ..:)

Yesterday I had disconnects again (after a long while), so I went ahead and installed the beta firmware.
It did not fix my problem. The disconnects continued with same message to "reconfigure DNS manually" on the basic status screen (all other screens showed connection was OK, but I could not reach anything external).
Anyway, I also saw that there was a new firmware publ;ished on the TPL site (Archer VR900(EU)_V3_200228) so I went ahead and installed.
No diconnects since then.
Now I am puzzled as the release notes say this fixes "the bug of CWMP vulnerability" (whatever that means), but no mention of the DNS manual bug...

Also am running the latest firmware for the VR900 (030091 v0069 Build 200228 RC 33306n)
While downloading a 4+ Gigabyte file, the DNS issue still occurs, webpages slow and non responsive, this is while the PC is using an ethernet cable connected to the modem router.
Here is some quick feedback:- screen grabs.

Correction, the disconnects still occur with the latest firmware.
So all the below frimware versions produce the error:
Archer_VR900V3_0.2.0_0.9.1_up_boot(170303)_2017-03-03_16.43.02 (initial firmware)
Archer_VR900V3_0.5.0_0.9.1_up_boot(190322)_2019-03-22_08.55.57 (beta version provided by Stella Q.
Archer_VR900V3_0.3.0_0.9.1_up_boot(200228)_2020-02-28_09.20.06 (new firmware from TPL site)
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp !

OK Stella,
Will revert to beta firmware, and next time the disconnect happens I'll save the system log and send it to you.
Please confirm this is the log file you need?

Thanks for the update. Before reverting to the Beta firmware, does the Beta firmware cover the CWMP vulnerability?
Noted, will provide a copy of the system log, if I do decide to revert to the Beta firmware and the "Please try to configure your DNS manually." occurs again.

Refer to page 6 of this thread and post number, #66. If they, Kevin or Stella, have not linked you to the VR900 V3 model beta firmware already.
