Model : TL-WR941ND

Hardware Version : V6

Firmware Version :

ISP : Shaw

I recently switched Internet providers. My connection speed prior to switching clocked an amazing Download speed of 121 Kbps and an identical upload. I was connected directly to the modem as it was a basic service and had a Type 1 NAT Type when I ran a connection test on the ps3. After switching Internet providers, my speed on EVERY device connected reaches an average Download speed of 4 Mbps and an Upload speed of around 500 Kbps.My NAT Type has also changed to a Type 2. Even though my PS3 shows these results in it's connection test, when I connect to any game, it has terrible lag, and almost non-existent voice chat. Even the friend list lags while it loads. I have tried both wireless connections and wired connections through the router, and have also tried disconnecting all other devices on the router and the issue persists.I will also mention that every other device on the router runs flawlessly, even with everything running at once. The PS3 is the only device that has this issue.I would like to know if this is an issue with the router or the ps3 itself, or even just a setting on the router that is limiting connectivity.

WAN IP on web interface of WR941ND is a public one?
Verify hardware version of your router. Is it V6 indeed?
Try to contact PS3's support and ask for some advice. As I know, NAT Type 2 should work without a problem.

Upgrade the latest firmware.
http://www.tp-link.com/en/download/TL-WR941ND_V5.html#Firmware

private IP range:10.0.0.0—10.255.255.255 172.16.0.0—172.31.255.255 192.168.0.0—192.168.255.255
How about yours? Is it in the range above?

The WAN IP is in the first range listed: 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255. As for the update, I'm not going to do it just yet, as I'd like to refrained from changing to much on the router itself until I know for sure it's the router

Try DMZ or open ports for PS3.

When I tried port forwarding I got an error message (first picture). And a question about the DMZ, when I enable it, does it open up the router itself or just the device who's static IP is entered (DMZ Host IP Address)

Edit: I just entered a random static IP out of the DHCP range for the picture, but when I tried with the actual IP I got the same message.

Will Enabling DMZ on my router put the router into the DMZ or only the device who's IP is set as DMZ host? I need to know because I don't want to enable the DMZ and have my router be vulnerable. Sorry if I am coming off as impatient and rude, but its a simple yes or no question.
