Hello,

I have a Thomson Speedtouch 546 as modem, which is also some sort of router (4 connections on the back, but no wireless function). How do I setup this and my WR841ND to work with each other? I have tried fiddling around with the settings for both of them, but I can't manage to get it working. Neither the wireless or the cable-connected computer works, I can only access the setups for the two devices. The cable straight from the modem works though of course. Please help!

Thanks for that HiSpeed.

I tried to follow your guide, but the interface on the modem/router is old and just horrible. It's also in german, which is not my main language, and it's not possible to change. I can active a bridge on it, but I can't find any of the other settings. I also tried to upgrade the firmware for it, but that doesn't work either... I don't know if I also managed to change some other setting too, because the internet is super-slow straight through the modem now. Not sure what to do now...

Why can't you change the SpeedTouch firmware, this modem comes from you ISP ?

Nevertheless, if you can set the Bridge mode, you have to follow my case #1.

LMay be you have to clone the MAC address of your PC into the TP-Link.

Could you show us the Status page of the TP-Link ?
