Firmware Version: 1.6

Hi, I recently bought an Archer C80, but not as my main router since I already have one. I'd like to use the C80 in my basement as a WiFi and LAN repeater. The issue is that I also want to set up a guest WiFi network for an Airbnb I rent out, but I don’t want it to have access to my main local network, as I sometimes host local servers and wouldn’t want them exposed.

I’ve been searching for a way to do this, but I haven’t found any clear answer. Is there a way to use the router as a repeater while also having a guest WiFi that’s isolated from my local network? Thanks in advance!

By the way, the IP of my main router is 10.0.0.1 and the TP-Link is 10.0.1.1.

If that's the case then perhaps on your main router you can use a device isolation feature or similar to isolate the C80.

Other than that, if you swap the location of your home network to be on the second router (behind a double NAT) the primary router connected devices won't be able to access it.at all.

You should use the C80 in roter mode if you want to isolate its guest wireless network from its main wireless network:

Allow guest to access your local network should be unchecked:

@terziyski No :/ It didn’t work. I tried turning the options on and off again since I already had them that way before, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I’m not completely sure, but it looks like that setting only blocks access to other IPs within the router's own gateway (10.0.1.x), but it doesn’t apply to my main home network (10.0.0.x). Thanks anyway!
