I got the same problem with my TD-W8968 V3.

It worked before, but I did an update due to some WiFi issues. The WiFi issues are still there (different story), however the media server does not appear anymore (neither on my TV nor my laptop)

Could the update cause the problem? Is it possible to undo the update?

From what I know TP-Link doesn't have full DLNA certification and sometimes can occur problems with compatibility between devices.

Thx for the replyI just did a downgrade to 140821 and the Mediaserver works again
