hello,
i have a LAN with tl-wr841n-router to the internet.
in WLAN is a laptop with a webserver (ip: 192.168.1.105)
can i connect this webserver with the wan (internet).
that means is it possible to get requests by 192.168.1.1 (router) to 192.168.1.105 (lan-host)?
maybe it is the function of port-forwarding?
i want to acces with the internet-ip of the router to the 192.168.1.105 in lan.
can you help mit with finding the right options.
thank you a lot.

i think i mean webserver from localhost. its a macbook with installed FreeBSD (-> apache 2.4) that hangs on router (via wlan). the router provides the internet access (and has no webserver) from lan-hosts like 192.168.1.105-host. is it understand-able? and i am very happy about every reply!!!

Two questions. Do you have access to webserver from local network? Do you have public IP address on the WAN port? You can to check it in status tab on the router.

i can type "192.168.1.106:81" in firefox on lan-macbook and it opens webpage i wrote for apache-web-server.
and yes i have a public ip address. i open "http://www.getip.com/" and it typed

You got a modem router which is connected to WAN port of WR841N, right?
You have to open port 80(is it the port of your webserver?) for WR841N's WAN IP 192.168.0.11. Hope it helps.
