Powerline adaptor losing signal at night

I have a tl-wpa4220 AV500 WIFI Powerline extender which has been working fine for months. In the last week at night time in the part of the house it has always been placed, the signal drops through the floor ( from 15mbs to 0.01 of a MB). But only in that part of the house. The signal returns to normal from the early morning through to the early evening. Any advice would be appreciated.
