Cannot see USB Drive on Network

I recently bought an Archer C8 router. I attached a USB 3.0 drive to it. The problem is, I can't see that drive on my workgroup. I can access it by typing the IP address of the router, however. But its not showing up on the network neighborhood.
This is different from my ASUS router. I can see the router and the hard disk connected to it easily from my network.
As it doesn't show up on the network by default, I can't access it using my media players as well.
I already have the latest firmware installed.
Any suggestions?
