Standby support for USB attached devices
Region : UnitedKingdom

Hi guys,
I own an Archer C5, with the latest FW.
I want to attach an USB HDD USB 1 and an USB PEN on USB2 to my C5, and I want to be able to access 24h/day.
THOUGH, I do not want to see those attached devices damaged. I attached already for a couple of hours and though I *never* accessed those USB devices for >1h, they were hot!!!
Doesn´t the firmware put those attached USB devices on stand-by after a X time??? I have a NAS and an Android device, and if I do not use the USB devices attached to them, they are put in stand-by (at least the are cool, and the HDD spins-off)
How is it with C5? (or any other USB-enabled TP-Link Router)
Thank you
