Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.6.4

Hi all. I have two X50 satellites which upgraded FW to 1.6.4 over the weekend (via the Deco app, Build 25011612 Rel 44161). The router is an X50-5G which is on 1.1.7. Prior to the satellites' FW upgrade, the network was rock solid

Initlally the satellites were a bit flakey but a reboot seemed to have sorted that. Overnight however, the satellites have been unreachable and only one device is showing in the Deco app as a connected to the network - a single Tapo camera (though strangely that and two other cameras are online and reachable in the Tapo app, but not two other Tapo devices). No other devices, wired or wireless, can be accessed.

If the satellites were down completely I'd assume wireless devices would simply try and connect to the router, but doesn't seem to be happening - and the device wired direct into the router is also unreachable.

Is there anything I can do remotely to remedy this? I won't have physical access to the network for sometime, so this is causing all sorts of headaches.

TIA!

Hi, welcome to the community.

It is suggested to install the 1.6.7 firmware here to see whether it helped:

Deco X50/X55_V1_1.6.7 Optimized the Client Network Stability

Wait for your reply and best regards.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don't currently have physical access to the network so that doesn't seem to be an option at the moment.

The satellites do intermittently come back online but it's an absolute lóttery to if the network is operational or not.

The strange thing is that even devices that normally connect to the X50-5G router aren't connecting if the satellites are down. Even wired devices.
