Hello I tried to connect the X50 via easy mesh to a ZTE 5G (MC888a Ultra) Easymesh router.
I tried to connect the x50 as EasyMesh agent and vice versa as Easymesh "master". Both didn't work.
The setup process for Easymesh agent did go through successfully, but then it didn't connect to the existing WIFI network - red light flashing.
It did work though when I connected a LAN cable, but that's exactly what I didn't want to do.
Is the Easymesh function really already working, could someone made it work?
App Version: IOS 3.9.12
Deco: 1.6.7 Build 25031212 Rel. 48241
Thank you very much for your help and informations

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. I don't think the engineers have tested with other brand EasyMesh routers other than TP-Link EasyMesh devices, but I'll check with them first.
By the way, what happened when Deco X50 was configured as the EasyMesh "master"? Deco APP can't find ZTE 5G (MC888a Ultra)?
Can you also refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log: How to submit Deco APP log
Wait for for your reply.
Best regards.

@SayeemAhmed currently it is only for deco x50 version 1.. not version 1.3..
also i need to manually do it on tge web UI because deco app only shows 1.6.4 and not 1.6.7 which @David-TP Have linked this post to that old forum.. and it was helpful

@David-TP thanks David. I have upgrade to this version 36hrs ago, so far so good.
The main deco (x55) CPU is staying 100% almost all the time. Memory is at 78%. They are similar when I was on 1.6.4.
Is that normal?

@David-TP Thank you for your help and answer.
Yes that's right, when I tried the "mesh-master" setup DecoApp couldn't find the ZTE Router. I submitted two app-logs and put your name in the message.
I've tried the setup again, each time I did a full reset.
Still the same result, mesh agent setup goes through but then the "no internet" message.
Edit: seems like the "handshake" process won't go trough all the way. On the ZTE the is a manual approach with 3 steps for setup.
It goes through step 1 and 2 (see picture "Deploying..."), then the Deco does a restart and the setup process / handshake is interrupted before step 3. (Configuring new mesh device Wi-Fi..)
What is noticeable is that the Deco keeps his own IP range and won't switch to the ip range of the ZTE Mesh master.

Hi, Thanks for the update.
I will report it to the engineer first.
Personally, I think running all the newly added features might make the device CPU and content usage close to the limit.
Did you monitor the CPU/memory status on the Deco APP or via web UI?
Best regards.
