TP-link Parental Control Pauses by doesn’t restart devices
We purchased the TP-Link AXE5400 Tri-band 6Eand paid for parental control. The Parental Control allowed us to create groups to which we can add specific devices and while it efficiently pauses the internet to those devices (at the times we specified), we have discovered it won't let those devices reconnect (at the times we specified)
We have checked the time on the router and it's the correct time. This means we have paid extra for parental control and now it only allows us to block and unblock devices.
Very disappointed to pay for extra features that don't fully work.

Hi@Pauseatron,
Thank you for reporting your issue to community.
May I know what is the model of your router? Please see How to find the model number of your TP-Link device
Did you set bedtime for your children? Could you please take screenshots with bedtime settings and send here?
There could be several reasons:
1. Incorrect time settings: Ensure that you have correctly set the bedtime for the child's device.
2. Reload traffic: Some applications may preload data, causing devices to cache data in advance and leading to some discrepancies. You can close the Application and reopen for a test
3. Wrong Mac address added: Parental Control identifies the network device based on the Mac address. If the client turns on the random Mac address function and causes the Mac address to change, Parental Control interception may fail.

1. The Model is Archer AXE-75
2. We have setup a group for every device:
ie PlayStation group for PlayStation4 Pro
ie iPad child 2 for iPad child 2
There is no issue pausing the internet when the device is added to the group but once the time is up, internet doesn't resume on the device. MAC is has been disabled on IPad.
I have checked that:
a) devices aren't blocked
b) it's not a conflict with time limits (kids haven't had opportunity to use up the time)
c) the time on the router is correct (which it is)
d) checking if the devices unpause 1 hour later (in case it's a daylight savings issue) but that doesn't work either.
so.... very unsatisfied and frustrated that this isn't working for a paid service.
